Pearl Carter gave birth at the age of 18. She named the baby girl Lynette, but was forced to give her away, because she was out of wedlock and she had to follow the will of her strict Catholic parents. Many years later, in the state of Indiana, Lynnette had a baby and named him Phil Bailey. After Lynnette’s death, Phil decided to track down his mother’s biological parents.
Nowadays Pearl Carter, Phil’s grandmother, and Phil, a 26-year-old man, have a strong relationship not as family but as a couple. The two claim that shortly after they met, they fell in love with each other.
And it looks like nothing can stop them. It is reported that the couple has already paid a surrogate mother $30,000 so that they could have Phil’s child. The grandmother and the grandson, who may have to face prison for illegal marriage, are planning on bringing up the child together.
