A young family from Canada is pretending to live in the late 80′s. If you have ever wondered who was the president of the USA in the 1950′s then Blair McMillan is your guy. You will just need to wait for at least 10 minutes so he can browse through his old-school encyclopedia set donated by someone who was probably wondering why on Earth doesn’t the 26-year-old father just get an Internet connection.

It’s because he can’t. Blair and his girlfriend Morgan have made a bizarre pact to live as if it was the early dawn of the 1986 again. They have two small beautiful children Trey, 5, and Denton, 2, who they want to raise properly without the distractions that modern day technologies provide. The family is pretending that it’s 1986 and they sure mean it. They have no Internet, no smartphones, no flat screen TVs, no modern day dishwashers and by the looks of it no modern lifestyle whatsoever. They even develop their rolls of film for $20 a pop and create real photo albums instead of Instagramming their children’s every move. The family decided to parent their children the same way they were brought up just to show them what it was like. So far, the “experiment” is working according to their plan.
